Have you ever wondered, What If?…

I am 42, mother of 2 and full-time accountant. And some days it works beautifully, but most of the time it is pretty full on, I wish for less stress, a healthier balance and more quality time for me and the family……

So, at the end of 2017 I started to think about some of the things that made me (and my family) happy, and I thought what if?

What if I could find something that helped me balance my stress and health (back pain, tiredness, PMT)?

What if I could find something that I may be able to use for a new career?

What if I find something I am passionate about and would make me jump out of bed for work!!

meditation in yoga

I have met some truly great people, who inspire me and have allowed me to see how much Yoga has benefited their lives. Yoga has a great way of uniting people, but it also allowed me time to think about how I fit into the world and where I want to be….

The course has made me think about the more philosophical side of yoga, as well as the physical practice I was originally drawn too. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about how yoga is more than just a physical practice – it is the body, mind and energy within the body and around us. This has created a better me, and in turn I enjoy sharing this with family and friends and seeing the benefits they can get from yoga.

And I am already thinking about more training to focus in on some of the areas I have particularly enjoyed. I am so pleased I chose the 10-month course, it has allowed time to absorb the learning and reinforce my gut feeling, personally I don’t think I would have been able to enjoy this experience as much if I had tried to complete in a month. I needed this time to see if was right and not rush.
