But I don't live in Bristol!

Why Choose Yoga Bristol?

The Yogafurie course is unique, as you qualify to teach both Yoga and Hot Yoga. We also offer 230 contact hours, and a host of great guest teachers. There are many other reasons and factors to consider, and people travel for this course. Here we talk a bit about Bristol as a learning destination.

The Yogafurie course runs over 11 long weekends. Your body and your mind have time to absorb the physical practice and the learning. We are certain this is more effective than intensive courses. You’ll be in a great location, and the “getaway” feel to your weekends means you’ll be free to concentrate and get the most out of your time with us.

Now you can enjoy Yogafurie’s yoga methods anytime, anywhere. Check out some of our best online yoga classes in the UK. Click here.

Why study in Bristol?

Bristol has been recognised as the happiest city in the UK (read more), and it shows. People are more relaxed, and this reflects in how they interact with each other out and about in the city. Food lovers will be pleased by the wide diversity of places to eat, with Bristol named as a top destination for vegans (read more). The boho nightlife scene is relaxed, and Bristol consistently ranks as a leading place for live music and chilled bars playing cutting-edge beats.

Transport

Transport links are excellent. Bristol offers two major national train stations, a busy coach station and an airport. It’s very accessible by road, with the M4 and M5 major motorways running right past the city. Click here to get more information on travelling to Bristol. Transport links within the city are comprehensive (find out more) and you can even get around the city centre with a leisurely ride on one of the commuter boats.

Where to stay in Bristol?

There are lots of great places to stay, very close to the studio and around the city. See below for a live feed from Airbnb for places in our postcode. Alternatively, couch surfing is a low-cost option that will get you right into the heart of Bristol people. It’s a very Bristol thing to do! More on couchsurfing here. For more options, visit Airbnb directly, or for more options take a look at the VisitBristol accommodation site.

The Teacher Trainee groups often become firm friends: if you are travelling for the course, don’t be surprised if one of your fellow trainees offers you to stay with them for the course weekends.
